Ruby Savage

Since relocating from her hometown Amsterdam to London in 2007, Ruby Savage spent the next 15 years working in music. Starting behind the counter at Honest Jon’s Record store, she deepened her musical knowledge and record collection with an extended love for soul, jazz, disco, dub and dance music. From there she went on to work for Theo Parrish’s Sounds Signature label and Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings. Both serving as a stepping stone into DJing. She joined Worldwide FM’s early roster of radio hosts followed by a monthly residency on London’s NTS radio. Ruby is also a regular guest on Tokyo’s J-Wave 81.3FM connecting a Japanese audience with her take on the versatile sound of London.

As a DJ she’s performed at London’s most well respected clubs including Koko Electronic, Corsica Studios, Fabric, Phonox, Pickle Factory, Giant Steps, Outernet and Village Underground. She’s programmed and hosted a residency at NT Loft and most recently expanded into Deep Listening Sessions. The intuitive and uplifting energy Ruby brings to music lovers has taken her on club and festival tours around the world, making frequent returns to Brazil, Oceania and across Europe.
